The Story Behind iAdvize
It all began in 2010 with Julien and Jon, our founders. They felt that online customer relations were too impersonal, lacking a certain “je ne sais quoi”. What if that je ne sais quoi was the human touch?
They combined their talents and built a chat tool to enable brands to assist their customers with their online purchases.
In 2012, iAdvize signed its first major customer: FNAC. This was a turning point in our story.
In 2015, we celebrated the recruitment of the hundredth employee, as well as a new fundraising round of 14 million €. This was the start of our European expansion.
In 2017, iAdvize raised $32 million to launch in the North American market. At the same time, we opened our American office in Boston.
In 2025, we celebrated our 15-year anniversary — a key milestone that highlights how far we’ve come and reinforces that our transformation toward agentic commerce is well underway.
Since then, we’ve been developing our AI Shopping Assistant, trusted by leading e-commerce brands, while laying the foundations for the AI-powered storefront of the future. Our solution is transforming the way brands interact with their online visitors, and the way people shop online.
